Marcelo has over 20 years of experience in Recruiting, Recruiting Operations and Recruiting Technology. He is currently the Head of Talent Acquisition – California (San Diego & San Jose) for ASML, and has held similar Talent Acquisition leadership roles @Amazon and @Bank of Montreal.
Marcelo also has held leadership roles in Human Resources/Talent Acquisition Professional Services (@Cognizant, @Taleo, @Mavix Talent Consulting) – partnering with clients to support their Talent Acquisition growth and transformations, including strategic consulting, data & metrics, process re-engineering, change management, program development, technology vendor evaluation/selection/implementation/optimization, candidate experience, and employer branding. Marcelo’s experience covers both public sector organizations, as well as organizations in technology, telecommunications, healthcare, retail, consumer goods, defense, natural resources, pharma and automotive.
Marcelo is passionate about the intersection of Talent Acquisition and technology – developing a great strategy and establishing baseline metrics, creating and aligning programs and processes to support the strategy, and then leveraging the technology available in the market to enable efficient and cost effective service delivery to the business – all while having a great candidate experience.
