VP, Innovation and Strategy, Office of the CTO, Lam Research

Lubab Sheet-Davis is Vice President, Strategy and Innovation in the Office of the CTO, at Lam Research bringing together technology, people, and business. Lubab recruited and leads a team that champions collaboration, bold thinking, and accountability in managing a portfolio of innovation programs and events which achieved a 60% increase in employee interactions in 2019. In addition, she supports diversity and inclusion by sponsoring Women@Fremont, a group focused on advancing early to mid-career women. 

She joined Lam Research in 2007 in Strategic Development with a focus on technology and market analysis, mergers and acquisitions and venture investments. She was a core team member of the $3B Novellus merger. Prior to joining Lam Research, Lubab was Sr. Director at SEMI, match-making start-up companies in nanotechnology, MEMS and renewable energy, and the equipment and materials industry. In 2000, she co-founded SemiSales.com, an e-commerce pioneer, serving as Vice President of Content. She started her career as an analyst at Rose Associates, developing forecasts in electronic materials.

In 2019, Lubab was the recipient of the Silicon Valley Tribute to Women Award from the YWCA for outstanding achievements in the workplace and beyond. She believes deeply in community service. She currently an Expert Advisor for the Gratitude Network, supporting leadership development and scale for social impact, and has served on several non-profit boards including The Youth Foundation, Loaves and Fishes Family Kitchen and Sustainable Community Gardens/Full Circle Farms. 

Lubab holds a Bachelor of Science in Materials Engineering from San Jose State University and a Master of Business Administration from Santa Clara University. She has completed the UC Berkeley Center for Entrepreneurship Engineering Leadership Professionals Program (ELPP) and is as an industrial advisory board member of the Center for Physical Sciences in Lithuania. 

She lives happily with her husband Jonathan in Mountain View and they enjoy traveling, trekking to remote places (she does)/golfing (he does), gardening, and cooking. She is learning to become a bee-keeper.
