Panel—Securing the Foundation: Building a Trusted Silicon Supply Chain

TechTALKS Stage South Tuesday, July 09
11:25am to 12:25pm

During the manufacturing of a chip, the foundation for security is laid by securely provisioning that device with a unique cryptographic key, or other secure data, in a known-secure area of the chip. But what if that provisioning process is compromised or unsecure by design? How can manufacturers move towards a more secure digital architecture?  Securing chip manufacturing is critical to ensuring the security of the entire hardware and software value chain that builds the Digital Thread. Using a secure-by-design philosophy and state-of-the-art processes and technology are key to building a trusted electronics supply chain. This panel will feature insights from major players across the semiconductor ecosystem and will discuss the critical components to building a truly secure global supply chain.
