Addressing the Design Gap to Enable Next Generation Sensor Based Products

TechTALKS Stage South Thursday, July 11
10:35am to 11:00am

Designing next generation sensor based systems like those found in wearables, IoT and medical devices poses many challenges.

There has been tremendous progress in the manufacturing and the supply chain for producing these systems, however, a significant gap still exists in design capability for creating the billions of interconnected sensors required by future applications.

Many of the bottlenecks in bringing these products to market occur as multiple sensors and companion Integrated circuits are combined, creating a need for new design enablement at the systems level.

This talk will address the current micro-sensors product design gap and how these current and future design needs will drive standards, ecosystem requirements and directions in the micro-sensors industry.
