Sheryl Hicks is Watlow’s vice president of human resources, specializing in organizational design and development, cultural transformations, leadership development and, enabling the creation of an environment of engagement. Since joining Watlow in 2001, Hicks has served in key HR roles, including the director of human resources and organizational development, specializing in change management to help Watlow adjust to large-scale transitions and the maximization of workplace efficiency to achieve the value proposition. Before joining Watlow in 2001, Hicks offered human resources and organizational development expertise to companies including Tenneco Automotive, and Fujisawa USA, Inc. Sheryl is currently on the Board of Directors and serves as Board President with the University City Children’s Center & LUME Institute. She has served on the Executive Board of Directors for the Richmond/Spring Grove Chamber of Commerce and Stateline SHRM (Society of Human Resource Management) and as a company representative to the Community Workforce Development Board, Economic Development Council. Sheryl is a certified facilitator for Center for Creative Leadership Assessment Tools (CCL), Development Dimensions International (DDI), Targeted Selection (DDI), Personnel Decisions International (PDI) 360 degree Profilor, Zenger Miller and Achieve Global. A current resident of O’Fallon, MO, Sheryl graduated from the University of Iowa with a bachelor’s degree in communication studies. She received her master’s degree in human resources development from Webster University.
