Media/Analyst Briefing—presented by Bridgelux
Beyond Chips and Efficiency: The Hidden Business and Productivity Advantages of Solid State Lighting

Monday, July 9
9:00am–11:00am
San Francisco Marriott Marquis

LEDs and other solid state lighting technologies can help dramatically reduce energy bills, but efficiency is only the tip of the iceberg. Solid state lighting (SSL) is also being employed to help drive retail sales, raise the value of commercial real estate and other tasks. LED networks ultimately will serve as a platform for customer service applications, security systems and motion sensors. Lighting could even get sold as a service.

This special media/analyst briefing features executives from different parts of the solid state lighting value chain who will discuss the forces driving SSL demand, the technological hurdles, and the new business models that are evolving to accommodate customers.
