Tip of the Month: New Exhibitor Registration Opens on January 23
Visitor and exhibitor registration will open on January 23rd. You can expect an email from Convention Data Services on January 23rd with your login information and instructions to begin registering your booth staff.

This is an earlier open date for exhibitor registration than in past years to allow your booth staff to take advantage of our new Social Media tool right away. They will be able to invite their colleagues via LinkedIn, Twitter or Facebook with a complimentary pass. Look for the SEMICON West 2012 Social Media Guide in the next issue of this update with full information on this benefit and tips to get the most out of it.

Further Your Connections with Exhibitor Meeting Rooms
Exhibiting at SEMICON West places your organization in front of qualified buyers and reinforces your brand. One of the many opportunities to expand your relationships and brand are available through private meeting rooms.

SEMI is offering a limited number of Exhibitor Meeting Rooms at the Moscone Convention Center, San Francisco Marriott Marquis, InterContinental San Francisco, Westin Market Street and the W Hotel. These can be used for company meetings, press conferences or sales consultations.

Some of the benefits of using Exhibitor Meeting Rooms include:
  • Collaborate with multiple interested parties in a private setting that reduces ambient noise.
  • Save your guests time and money by meeting with them at the show.
  • Productive workspace, powerful connections, & effective ideas
In order to secure a meeting room at the above mentioned locations, please complete the Exhibitor Meeting Room Application and return it to SEMI for processing along with your payment by March 23. Applications will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis determined by the date and time your application and payment are received. Meeting Room confirmations will be sent in late March. Is your organization on our social media lists?
For 2012 we are employing a new tactic of building lists of exhibitors within your respective Social Media platforms to deliver expanded levels of visibility. For instance, the feed from the Twitter List of SEMICON West Exhibitors will be showcased on the front pages of www.semiconwest.org starting in June and on the new SEMICON West mobile app that will be available to attendees on their Apple iOS and Android operating systems during the show.

Exhibitors who are already actively participating in social media have been added to these lists. We do ask that you please check the lists to ensure and confirm your participation in this campaign.

FAQ: When will the exhibitor email campaign service be available?
Start to build your Excel lists of customers that you want to invite to your booth at SEMICON West now. The Exhibitor Email Campaign system (Express Exhibitor Email®) will allow you to extend complimentary invitations to your customers starting in April up to the event. More information about uploading your lists into the new system will be highlighted in March's Exhibitor Update.

Will visitors be able to find your company and products?
The SEMICON West 2012 Event Directory portal will open on Tuesday, February 14, 2012. Adding products and complete company information will increase your chances of being found when an attendee searches on semiconwest.org or the new mobile app for your service or product. Exhibitors will receive their login and password information by separate email on Tuesday, February 14, along with the SEMICON West 2012 Co-Exhibitor and Exhibitor Designated Contractor information.

Present your company as a thought leader in your respective field
SEMI is soliciting technical presentations in topic areas including: Wafer Processing ,Test, Packaging and Extreme Electronics.
