Addressing EHS Best Practices in the the PV Industry

SEMI members and industry partners have recommended that SEMI craft and publish a list of best practices to address EHS hazards in PV manufacturing.
As a mechanism for this, SEMI has created a "PV EHS Interest Group" to discuss these hazards in an open forum. To join this Interest Group, please complete the online membership form. Your name will be added to the distribution list. If you are a SEMI member and would like to volunteer to lead the Interest Group, please email Sanjay Baliga (SEMI Senior Manager in San Jose).
In the past several months, the SEMI EHS Division has drafted a "Best EHS Practices in PV Manufacturing White Paper" based on best EHS practices from similar industries.
During the meeting, participants will review the White Paper and craft suggestions for improvement.
Agenda
During the meeting, participants will break out into small groups each focusing on different EHS aspects of PV manufacturing. The goal of these breakout groups is to review what is currently know about best practices.
Participants should only attend if they are willing to share their impressions on EHS hazards and best practices for PV manufacturing. Otherwise, the meeting will not likely be successful.
