BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit)

Sustainable Airport Transportation

BART has direct service from the San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and the Oakland International Airport (OAK). We endorse and highly recommend taking BART. It’s the convenient,
inexpensive and eco-friendly way to get to and from the airport to San Francisco for SEMICON West 2011 in San Francisco. Taking BART keeps 22 lbs of emission per passenger trip from entering the atmosphere.

BART/Semicon West SFO San Francisco Voucher in association with BART, we’re offering a quick, easy, inexpensive way to get your round trip transfer from SFO to San Francisco. If you’re arriving at SFO we encourage you to purchase this inexpensive BART transfer in advance. Get a BART/SEMICON West Voucher now and you’ll save substantially over the cost of a shuttle or taxi. Plus, you won’t have to wait in line at the BART station to buy a ticket. Just print the voucher, take it with you and exchange it for a BART ticket at the SFO Information Desk outside the BART station. It’s that easy. To purchase your BART/SEMICON West SFO to San Francisco transfer visit:

BART SFO Voucher Change and Transfer Directions

The BART station and the Voucher Exchange desk are located in the SFO International Terminal-G. To get there, take the SFO Airtrain Blueline from terminals 1, 2 or 3 to the Terminal-G stop.
Exit the Airtrain, turn right and go down the escalator. The Voucher Exchange/Information desk is at the bottom of the escalator. The BART station entrance is just beyond the Information Desk. Passengers arriving at the International terminal should turn right upon leaving customs and follow the signs to the escalator up to the departure level. Follow the sign at the top of the escalator to the Voucher Exchange/Information desk or to the station.

BART Directions from Oakland Airport (OAK)

Go to the AirBART shuttle stop on the traffic island and take the AirBART bus. Deposit $3.00 in the AirBART fare box when you board. If you don’t have a ticket you can purchase a round-trip
ticket at the Coliseum station for $7.60. Proceed upstairs and take a San Francisco or Daly City bound train. It usually takes 45 minutes to take the AirBART shuttle and BART to San Francisco.
Make your trip easier; purchase your BART OAK tickets in advance. To purchase OAK transfer tickets visit:

BART Station Exits For Moscone Center
The Powell St. station is the stop for the Marriott Marque and Intercontinental hotels. The Montgomery St station is for the Westin Market St. Both stations are within two blocks of the
respective hotels.

Important: BART trains stop service at midnight. Also, there is no direct service between San Francisco and Fremont after 7:00pm; passengers must transfer at Oakland City Center/12th Street or MacArthur stations for Fremont line destinations. Visit www.bart.gov and consult the QuickPlanner under Stations and Schedules (http://www.bart.gov/stations/quickplanner/quickplanner.asp) for detailed directions to and from San Francisco.
