SEMICON West attracts more than 30,000 professional attendees representing the leading global technology companies, including IDMs, foundries, fables, contract packaging and test houses, OEMs, materials manufacturers, components and sub-systems companies, and many others. Visitors come to see the latest products and technologies, meet with and learn from technologies and technical experts, and source solutions that enable them to advance their own product development and move their ideas and businesses forward.

  • What is the attendee code of conduct?

 

Each visitor is expected to conduct himself or herself in a courteous manner and respect the rights of SEMICON West exhibitors and other show attendees.

-Smoking is not allowed inside the Moscone Convention Center at any time.

-Photography is NOT permitted of ANY exhibit. This includes, but is not limited to, cell phone cameras, digital cameras, film cameras and video cameras.

-Children 12-17 years old are allowed on the exhibit floor only during show hours provided they are accompanied by an adult.

-Children under 12 are not allowed on the show floor at any time. Badges must be worn on the show floor and at all official SEMICON events, programs and meetings.

  • How do I get a Letter of Invitation from SEMI?

  • Is there a preferred airline carrier for the Show offering discounted rates?

  • Is there a preferred car rental agency for the Show offering discounted rates?

SEMI will announce all partnerships and discounts in March 2012.

 

  • How can I reserve a hotel room at a discounted rate?

 

SEMI and our official housing partner, CMR, have worked with 46 local hotels to provide the best rates for our visitors at SEMICON West 2012 who book through the official housing block.

Visitor Housing opened on January 23, 2012Booking within the official SEMICON West 2012 housing block assists SEMI in maintaining competitive hotel rates for future Shows.

 

  • Is there a Shuttle Service?

 

SEMI offers convenient shuttle service to most of the official SEMICON West hotels, as well as service from the San Francisco CalTrain station at 4th and Townsend Streets and from San Jose from July 10–12, 2012. Shuttle schedule will be available in March 2012.

 

  • What are the driving directions to Moscone Center?

  • When will I get my badge?

 

Badges will be available at registration onsite at the event only. Badges will not be mailed in advanced.

 

  • When will Program registration be available?

 

Program Registration will open on April 2, 2012.

 

  • Are there any fees for an exhibit only pass?

 

Register by April 12, 2012 for a complimentary exhibit only pass.
Register April 13 - June 2, 2012 - $50
Register June 2 - July 8 - $100
Register July 9-12  - $150
